They say that what‘s important is not the destination, but the journey itself. I guess they‘re right. We spend more than half of our time planning – planning our duties for tomorrow, planning our vaccation, planning our birthdays, planning our future… And somehow, we forget that what is important is HERE and NOW – not in the past, not in the future, not somewhere else with someone else. HERE & NOW.
We are looking forward to the destination, the result of our efforts, the point where we can say we succeeded. And we forget the journey, the efforts we make, the means we use to get there.
Look around – live HERE and NOW. We cannot control the future. We cannot change the past. We can make plans, but they can fall apart and we have to adjust. Take time to enjoy what is happening at this precise moment. Take a deep breath and look around you.
Enjoy the journey. Love every step of the way.
